1) Try the correction first

Rewrite each sentence so it is correct. Focus on articles, tenses, prepositions, and subject-verb agreement.

2) Check your answers

1. She goes to school every day.

The subject is she, so the verb needs -s in the present simple.

2. I have been working here since 2022.

With since + point in time, English usually uses the present perfect or present perfect continuous.

3. He is good at math.

We say good at a subject, skill, or activity.

4. There are two apples on the table.

Use there are with plural nouns like two apples.

5. We discussed the problem yesterday.

After discuss, we do not normally use about.

Children is plural, so the verb must be were.

7. I need some advice about my job.

Advice is uncountable in English, so we usually say some advice or a piece of advice.

8. We arrived at the station late.

Use arrive at for a smaller place like a station, and arrive in for a city or country.

9. My brother doesn’t like coffee.

With he / she / it in the present simple negative, use doesn’t + base verb.

10. Can you lend me your pen for a minute?

This sentence is already correct. The verb lend means “give something for a short time.”
