1Is it really free?
Yes. Installing and using the extension is free. Saving up to 50 words and 30 grammar checks per month is free without an account. For unlimited use, sign up — the first 30 credits are free, no card required.
2Does it conflict with Grammarly or LanguageTool?
No. Blindspot works on a different layer — it only activates when you select text and click our toolbar. You can keep Grammarly running side by side. Many learners use both.
3What websites does it work on?
Any website with selectable text or a regular text input. That includes Gmail, X (Twitter), Reddit, LinkedIn, Slack, Notion, Medium, blogs, news, comment threads. PDFs and Google Docs have limited support due to their custom text engines.
4Does Blindspot read everything I write?
No. The extension only sends to our servers what you explicitly select — a single word for saving, or a block of text for grammar check. The rest of the page is never read or stored.
5How do I sync my vocabulary across devices?
Sign in to your Blindspot account in the extension. Every word you save lands in your dashboard at blindspot.study, accessible from any device, and from your connected AI chats (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor).
6What languages does it support?
English, Polish, Belarusian and Spanish (beta) as target languages. Translations support 12+ native languages including Russian, Spanish, German, French, Polish, Japanese and more.
